SHEQ Superintendent

Do you want to contribute to safe and efficient operations at sea?
As a SHEQ Superintendent, you will play a key role in our work with safety, quality and continuous improvement across our fleet. You will work closely with both our vessels and shore-based organisation, contributing to safe and efficient operations through audits, risk assessments and the development of strong SHEQ processes. The position involves some travel.
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out audits, inspections and SHEQ follow-up
- Follow up non-conformities, incidents and improvement measures
- Participate in risk assessments and incident investigations
- Advise and support vessels and the shore organisation on SHEQ-related matters
Qualifications
- Nautical education, preferably combined with experience as Chief Officer or Captain
- Good understanding of maritime regulations
- Experience with the ISM Code, audits and follow-up of non-conformities
- Experience from the maritime industry, preferably within SHEQ/HSEQ
Personal qualities
- Structured and analytical
- Proactive and solution-oriented
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to build good working relationships
- Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
