About the position

 

We are looking for a certified Microsoft Platform Specialist for a key role in the operation, management and further development of our Microsoft platform. You will have operational responsibility for management, operations and development — from identity and cloud-based device administration to underlying server infrastructure — and become an important part of a skilled IT team working across infrastructure, security and user experience.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Management and operation of Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure AD, including identity and access management, conditional access policies and hybrid identity
  • Administration of Microsoft 365 services across Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
  • Device management and compliance through Microsoft Intune, including policy management for Windows, iOS and Android devices
  • Operation and further development of Azure infrastructure, including monitoring, cost management and security
  • Operation, hardening and lifecycle management of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and file services in hybrid setups
  • Patch management, upgrades and migration work related to the server platform
  • Contribute to security work related to the Microsoft Defender portfolio and compliance with internal and maritime security requirements
  • 2nd/3rd-line support for escalated issues related to the Microsoft platform
  • Documentation and internal knowledge sharing within the IT team

 

We are looking for someone who has

  • At least 1–3 years of practical experience with the operation and management of Microsoft platforms in production environments, both cloud and server
  • Solid experience with Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, Active Directory and hybrid infrastructure
  • One or more valid Microsoft certifications is desirable, preferably within:
  • MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert
  • AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate
  • AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • SC-300 Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • MD-102 Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Experience with automation using PowerShell, and preferably Microsoft Graph API
  • Good understanding of identity and security principles in hybrid environments
  • Ability to work independently, in a structured way and with a solution-oriented mindset

 

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience from the maritime sector or other operational environments with high uptime requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud or Sentinel
  • Practical experience with Zero Trust architecture
  • Experience with virtualization, such as Hyper-V or VMware, and backup solutions
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 or equivalent security frameworks
