Marine Engineer

Are you our new colleague in the Project department?
Wilson is looking for a new Marine Engineer that will primarily work for the Project department in Bergen. Travelling must be expected.
Main tasks
- Calculate and create LSD (lashing, securing, dunnage) plans
- Stability calculations
- Design and drafting of complex loading and discharging plans
- Assist in loading operations (as port captain)
- Dialogue with vessels, clients, class and statutory bodies in the design process
- Participate in pre-loading meetings with clients
Qualifications
- Relevant experience related to maritime operations
- Technical or nautical education
- Masters or PhD degree in Structural design/ Naval Architecture/ Ocean Engineering or similar
