Board of Directors

Kristian Eidesvik - Chairman of the board.

Mr. Eidesvik has extensive experience within the marine and shipping sector. Until 1985 Mr. Eidesvik was a captain and owner of several fishing boats. From 1985 to 1997 Mr. Eidesvik was the General Manger of Eidesvik Shipping AS. Since 1997 Mr. Eidesvik has been the General Manager and owner of Caiano AS. Mr. Eidesvik holds several directorships, the most important in addition to Wilson are in Sparebanken Rogaland, Green Reefers ASA, Qubus Hotell Holding AS, Bømmeløy AS, Odra Industries ASA, Koralfisk AS and Karmsund Fiskemel AS. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Wilson since 2000. Mr. Eidesvik is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Bømlo, Norway.

Gudmundur Asgeirsson - Board member

Mr. Asgeirsson is educated as a Sea Captain from Maritime College in Reykjavik, and has an addition education within shipping from London School of Foreign Trade, London. In 1974, he established the Icelandic ship owning company Nesskip hf., where he held a position as Managing Director for 30 years. He has also held several significant board positions within Icelandic Ship owning enterprises; board member for the Sailors Pension Fund for 23 years, including Chairman of the Board in 2 periods. Also board member in the Icelandic Shipowners Association from 1983 - 2004, including Chairman of the Board. Mr. Asgeirsson is the second largest shareholder after Wilson in Nesskip hf. He also holds board positions in Alfesca hf., Nes hf., Saltkaup hf., Oliudreifing hf., Nikita hf., and the Icelandic federation of employers’ associations. Mr. Asgeirsson is an Icelandic citizen with residence Seltjarnarnes, Iceland.

Eivind Eidesvik – Board member.

Mr. Eidesvik is educated as a Ship Master. He has previous experience as seaman from Eidesvik & Co AS, mate from Austvoll Havfiske AS, mate from Green Management AS and operator from Green Reefers ASA. Mr. Eidesvik is currently the General Manager of Caiano Shipping AS. He is a board member of Green Bergen AS and, since 2004, of Wilson. Mr. Eidesvik is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Bergen, Norway.

Ellen Solstad – Board member

Mrs. Solstad holds a Bachelor Degree from BI. She has previous experience from R.G Hagland AS and Solstad Offshore UK Ltd. Mrs. Solstad is currently Managing Director of Solstad Invest AS and Ivan AS. Mrs. Solstad has been a board member of Wilson since 2005 In addition she holds directorships in Karmsund Fiskemel AS, Karmsund Fiskeindustri AS, Karm Med AS, Sydvest Eiendom AS and Ivan AS. Mrs. Solstad is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Skudeneshavn, Norway.

Synnøve Seglem – Board member.

Ms. Seglem holds a master degree in civil engineering from the Imperial College, London UK and has since 2004 been employed as a superintendent in Det Norske Veritas (DNV). Her work has been related to approving cargo and machinery systems for newbuilding gas carriers and other vessel types. At present Synnøve Seglem is on leave of absence from her position in DNV to complete a MSc at Cass Business School, London UK within Shipping, Trade & Finance. Ms. Seglem is a board member of two other Norwegian boards of directors as well as one in the UK. Sunnøve Seglem is a Norwegian citizen with residence in London, UK.

Bernt Daniel Odfjell III – Deputy board member

Mr. Odfjell holds a Bachelor Degreee in Finance from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut, USA. He has previous experience from Bergen Bank AS, Astley & Pearce, Denmark, Norbanken SA; Luxembourg and Christiania Bank Kredittkasse, New York. Mr. Odfjell is currently CFO in AS Rederiet Odfjell. Mr. Odfjell has been a board member of Wilson since 2005. In addition he holds directorships in Sir Matt Reefers AS/DIS, CaSaVI AS, Odfjell Vineyards S.A., AS Rederipartner, Tønnevold Reefer 5 KS, Kir Berg Shipping KS/AS. Mr. Odfjell is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Bergen, Norway.

Jan O. Minde - Board member (Employee)

Mr. Minde was employed in the Insurance Department by Wilson in 1996, and is today leader of the department. He has been a board member since March 2006. Mr. Minde is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Bergen, Norway.

Stein Sørevik - Deputy board member (Employee)

Mr. Sørevik joined the Board of Wilson ASA in 1Q 2010 when he was elected deputy employee representative. Mr. Sørevik joined Wilson in 2002 and has been working as an operator for 17 years. He is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Bergen, Norway.
